Hi,
Just taken delivery of a 2016 Discovery 4 Graphite, replaced a BMW M4. After a few days of getting used to the wallow I'm loving it. Flew up the lane to my daughters farm, the M4 was a nightmare, the MX5 even worse.

It's so quiet compared to the BMW, Checked the MOT history today as the V5 arrived, it failed one :( , I cannot believe it, after 40 years of motoring I have never known of a car less than 5 years old failing. BTW it was less than 3. It was a propshaft bearing.

I really hope this is not a foretaste of things to come, as I said love the vehicle and the LR warranty for a year should help.

If yer worried about one bearing failing... don't search for "snapped crank disco"

It's an expensive vehicle to buy and own. It's full of expensive parts. A bearing can fail at any time and not a sign of a bad vehicle.
