What happened to your engine? Need to fit a new water pump asap as i was putting new belts on and it's got a bit of play in it.

need to get me a winch on it too :)

Just worn out - replacing it with a lower mileage 300tdi - Get some pics of your Disco on here and i'll keep an eye out for you mate!
 
If you need a hand just give us a bell, only ever done 2 engine swaps in land rovers but that was in 1999 :eek:
 
Have you got your own garage mate? I am going to pick up my new works van in the morning so mite be free late afternoon .

Is it just old engine out, new one in?
 
I'm paying for a bay in a diy garage in Paisley, got the old engine out - just having snags getting the new 1 in :(
(have a look in the defender section - my thread is in there ;) )

How far are you getting the gearbox to the engine? are there any locating dowels stuck in the engine from the old gearbox ?
