Hi from PLYMOUTH DISCO2

Hi all i live in plymouth i joined a few years ago when the wife wanted a freelander TD4 HSE....anyways...its now my turn to have a Landy and i have just picked up a Disco 2 TD5. Love it....

APART FROM....

the drivers heated seat does not work...not a problem the seller kindly gave me a new Genuine replacement part.

i though perfect i can crack this out... started to undo the leather i moved the electric seat forwards....forgot i had still something to do at the front and the seat will not go back all the way....its not a lot a Inch at most...but it that Inch which makes it comfortable for me to drive, at the moment i am like a 90 year old with my face in the windscreen.

when it stops you can clearly see that it wants to go on but it jams...i can not see anything in the runner. will it be a whole seat out?

I now realise to replace the heater element i will have to take the whole seat out was seing if there was a quick work around...but sadly not.

please could someone shed some light on the heater element replacement and why the seat not going all the way back?

P.S. i understand it looks like a Chelsea Tractor AT the moment!

No idea about the seat mate but I kinda like that grille and I was looking at doing the same with the wing vents gonna get slagged now

it makes alot of heads turn.

No worries i hope someone on here knows how to do it or lives in Plymouth and could pop round with their knowledge

Try a specific post on it in the discovery forum, it'll get picked up by more people then.

Someone on here will help you get it sorted one way or another
