Hi, this is my first post here.
I'm planning to return to Land Rover ownership after a break of a few years. You might say I've managed to stay 'clean' for that time but the craving has returned!
My last Land Rover was an early 90 Hardtop petrol, B reg. It was one of the last 2286 cc, now almost certainly scrapped although some of its organs probably live on in other old Land Rovers. During the years when I haven't had a Land Rover I must have saved literally thousands of pounds in fuel bills (50+ mpg as opposed to 20 mpg). But my annual mileage now is lower and my intended Land Rover would be less thirsty than my old one.
Anyway, the plan is to get a Defender 110 Hardtop. Probably 200TDi or 300 TDi, although TD5's look like they're just about scraping into my budget range.
