(hope linking the above doesnt break any rules)

have a chat to VOSA it might save you a pull and if need to make a claim on your insurance they wont have any excuse not to pay out.But you may end up being on a Q plate

im at work at the minute, the landy is off the road at the min so no issues of being pulled, but want to be 100% legal before i do go anywhere now, and now im worried lol..

v5 isnt with me, what are you wanting to know and il upload it later.

the tax disc can be hand written and then stamped over with PO stamp if bought on line or via DVLA it will be printed.
as for V5 just wondered have you checked chassis and engine Nos and what the description is cause it aint a series 3 109 station wagon or anything like it

Right o il have a nosey tonight, he did say it had been imported cant remember where from off hand, i get the feeling im going to loose out quite badly here, why o why didnt i come here 1st lol.

That's exactly what it says it is a rangy chassis with a 109 body fitted. the rear passenger doors have been cut down to accommodate the shorter chassis.

Probably is tax exempt if it was modified before the regs changed??

Hope so for the OP red but how do you prove it was done before reg change and how does VOSA prove it wasn't
Cause we could build one this afternoon and say its been like it since 1980's i bought it like it mate!

WIfi ont train, Pikey?
Shirley it shud be a rangie, not a 109 on V5 if that is chassis?
It certainly won't conform on points system.

i was aware the engine didnt match which will be getting altered, its insured as a v8

ye i looked at the points so know it wont meet them,

I may be mistaken, but my understanding is that the vehicle is based on the chassis, so yours should be a rangie on V5. Others might be better informed.

how do you come to the conc its def a rangy?

il have a look at the v5 abit later today when im home to see what it says, then when i get chance match things up on the chassis etc, where is the engine number on a v8 and on a chassis both landy and rangy.

Wots the chassis from - rangie?
Wots the injun from - rangie?
Wots the axles from - rangie?
Wots the gearbox from - rangie?

That is most of the points ain't it?
It's a 109 body on a rangie.
Therefore it should be classed as a rangie.

As I said - that's my understanding, but I could be wrong.
