Hi everyone, Finally bought a Landy a few weeks ago. I think its 1970 vintage, a right hand drive diesel that came from the UK in 1999 and its a 109. Found this one 4 miles from my house up for sale and had to have it.
It runs well and we took it on a 140 mile run to Watkins Glen State Park in NY State. When I crossed from Canada to the US the customs guy wanted know if it was legal in Canada!!! Had a great few days camping but the old girl is a tad slow up the hills. Brings back memories of when I lived in England.
At one point I had a bunch of US Army Humvees stuck behind me for a few miles, they were too wide to get passed!!
Looking forward to gaining some info from your site.
