just bumped into your site whilst browsing google looking for landy info, so figured i'd register
i don't have one yet and have never owned one but i need a new toy/project rather than more bikes (i've got 8 or 9 of those in various stages of build/use), so i'm looking for a swb to build, pre 73 (yes i know free tax) ...
not having owned one i've lots to learn ( i catch on quick) so will be here picking your brains once i've found my project, welding isn't a problem but would prefer a reasonably good chassis, it's going to end up with a diesel in it regardless, probably the perkins prima if i can find one as i've seen conversion kits for them ...
i'll also be considering an overdrive for slightly better road speeds/mpg outside of town...
all i remember of landy's was the one my dad had when i was a nipper which he'd stuffed a straight six 3 litre rover lump in which went like stink, mine won't i just want cheap and reliable (you lot might convince me different tho )
anyway that's me saying hello
