Hi Everyone

Hi everyone. I have just stumbled across this forum and thought I would introduce myself to one and all.

I am Chris, based in Wiltshire. 39 year old big kid who loves dirty 4x4's and even dirtier women I am a keen pilot (aerobatic) and an avid petrol head both on and off road. I have been green laning alot over my driving career (23 years) and love anything off road. Professionally I am a photographer both portrait and commercial.

Recently back into 4x4's again as my Jaguar XKR is not great in the snow so I have been out and bought a V8 3.9 Disco II for some fun and frolics.

Great forum, and I hope to meet up with a lot of you over the coming years.

Hi Landyman - That water ditch in your avatar, its not on the plain is it just up from Netheravon? Im sure I buried my old Rangie in that years ago. Could still be there!

Ah well, it wasnt that one then. I used to be quite a regular over the plains, dodging the land wardens...

I will. If you know anyone with an old V8 or good TDi Disco with a small amount of off roading kit on it, can you let me know. Something with a little protection on the underside, possible snorkel and a good runner. Provided its not a complete rust bucket, im none too worried about general body condition. Im looking for another Disco just for green laning or off roading in the very near future. My new Disco is a little too nice to batter on the lanes.

me mates just got it in payment for a job he done bus as he has 5 landrovers already hes probably gonna part wiv it
