hi everyone, just bough a freelander 2 AND I LOVE IT. its not a new one, its an 07 BUT ITS GORGEOUS. anyway i'll stop braging and ask a question to my problem. My passenger side door wont lock. I hear all the mechanisms in the door but it just wont lock. I have the same problem with the drivers door, but if I press the key fob twice that one will lock. any suggestion? thank you in advance

Hello and welcome.

Its sounds like your freelander has been driven through a puddle

Its a common problem..

Back in the day we just used the key to lock it
Take it back to where you bought it from if not had it long or if you've had it a while your local trusty mechanic, just needs door card taking off to have a look, could it be a fuse?

Something doesn't have to be brand new to be gorgeous My Disco 2 is 12 years old, but she is gorgeous to me, not to mention 50 shades of awesome when used in anger

Check the power lead from the hairdryer, or curling tongs is not trapped in the door frame
