My name's Rob, Found this site through Google and all seems good so far

I'm planning entering the world of Landies later this year. I'm going to go halves with a good mate of mine and probably buy a Disco V8 for green laning and maybe some off roading (if we can find any!)

I know it's probably more practical to buy a diesel, but as it's not going to be a daily run around, and we've both wanted a V8 for years!!

First decision, is whether to buy a bog standard 3 door and beef up the suspension etc, or to buy one thats already been set up??? (tell a lie, first thing is to spend the next few months saving up lol)

just av a luk round an if ya find one tricked up at the rate money buy it,if not wuk out wot ya want t go on a standard one an budget accordingly.
