Feet? Mouth? Its all getting confusing.
I think i'd better pay some attention to planning this, otherwise it's going to be a complete disaster. ok first, do i take my hairdryer or not? .... ONLY joking ..... prepare vehicle, plan route, buy gps, take passport & water, wash t-shirt (just noticed the one in my photo's not all that clean). have i forgotten anything?

U won't need any hairdryer, the air is so hot in this season, just drive and the weither will take care of the rest. I've been driving in morocco without any preparation of the vehicle, and without any GPS if you speak a bit of frensh. all you'll need is your passeport, a vehicle in good condition and wearing good tires, a good map (michelin maps are quite complete), water tank, sthing to dig in the sand, sand carpets, a strap, a quechua 2'' tent, a sleeping bag, a little fridge to keep your drinks cool, and keep your vehicule light.
to go straight to merzouga without offroading the atlas montains you won't need any gps, and if you wanna reach merzouga offroading i can give you the tracks for your gps if you've got one. i'm using Oziexplorer with 1/100000 maps (they are very detailed).
i wish you'll enjoy your trip, there is really a lot to see in morocco.
