the names gary but everybody calls me pob something to do with big ears lol
im new to the forum but not new to land rovers or cars in genural as i am a mechanic by trade so feel free to pm me any questions about your other cars
at the age of 17 (long time ago now) i got my first car a 1961 series 2 swb soft top with i proceded to carry out a full chassis up nut and bolt type rebuild took me around a year didnt look like much when finished but was solid as a rock and very reliable but being young i wanted something a little flasher so she was sold but now forgoten
now some years later i am in need of a new land rover so last night 13/7/9 i purchased a 1969 lwb raf ambulance in fairlly good nick
of course there are the normal problems with a vehicle this age but i got time will try and get some pics and post them up here when i can
