Hi everyone, i have been meenig to join a forum like this for ages, finallly got around to it after bying P38 with very iffy engine.

Should have joined before buying mate...might have got one with a good engine...

thanks, we bort it with an iffy engine because the price was right lol:D
 
hi what up with it then

hi, the previous owner ran it low on oil then revved it rle high and it went crunch and stopped- will turn over - just makes expensive noises and wont run:mad:

i have soursed a replacment 4.6 v8 (same as the 1 that came out just from a 2000 model year car rather than 1996 like ours is- if we change engine and ecu is this a problem????

swopping the lump over is not a problem just heavey work
but you might find that the wire loom in yours is diff to the new lumps
i help a friend swop over one 4.2lse for a later model and we had to do a little wiring job because a multi plug had 2 wires going in but 3 going out
as you replug everything back in just check wiring in the multi plugs as you go good luck
