Hi everyone

My name is Steve and I bought a landy 90 pick up about four months ago as a shooting vehicle as I do a lot of pest control work in West Kent. It had all sorts of C^%P bolted on which made it look pretty tacky. The alarm was wired in by tucking the wires behind the fuses so I am sure you can imagine how unsafe that was. Over the last few months I have been gradually taking off light bars, alarms and other unnecessary ancillaries in order to make it more original. It has got cheap bucket seats which are falling apart with four point harnesses so I have just got a pair of proper seats from e bay and am waiting for the belts from john craddock before they can go in. In short I bought this motor for the shooting and have inadvertantly got a bit hooked on the vehicle itselt (2.5 N/A diesel, slow and would like to put a quicker gutrsier engine in at some stage). Well thats me and the landy, hope to get to know some of you over the coming weeks and years.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear, Noooo yoove got it wrong chequerplate is naff, except for the standing on bit. It's the Landy equivalent of big bore exhausts on poxy little hatchbacks.

It is functional, and I like it, that is the beauty of forums, we all have our own little viewpoint, it looks ok (although the stuff on the bumper has been hammerited as id did nothing useful so you cant now see it)

haha that told yer grunt :) chequer is good for hiding holes and dents and standing on your bonnet to cut trees which block paths when your out laning ;) black is best. dont get any internal stuff though. i saw a full silver chequer cubby box the other day, it looked rancid!

Welcome.
