Hi all

Hi all have a problem with my 96 300tdi, i have side lights, main beam but no dip beam, have checked all fuses,relays,changed the stalk, earths seem nice and tight they just stopped working, and still no dip beam HELP PLZZZZZZ

300 tdi what?

will be the dim dip relay behind the clocks its pink and made by lucas if i remember rightly cut the 2 x blue wires and blue with red trace and join together then all should be good done a few at work like that bloody crap and if your wondering a new dim dip relay is about 25 pounds which is a waste and not needed

that is on a 300tdi discovery 96

miss read the disco thought it said defender but might well have

just checked the auto data and yes the 96 disco does have a dim dip so stands a very good chance as they are the most common cause for loss of dipped beam

do i have to take out dash to get at it ??

no on the discos its one of the relays in the foot well not behind the dash like on the defenders will see if i can find out which relay it is for the disco cas it will be differant to the defender

on the 200 tdi they were up under by the steering coloum and looked like this so shouldnt be much differant

so they r not the ones on nsf under the glove box, there r some green 1,s and yellow 1,s (relays)

Annoyingly probably not like I said the early disco were up under the steering Colum attached to the bulkhead so would think the 300 would be in the same place where abouts are you
