Hi guys, I'm Aron, live in Salisbury. I have a V reg 3 door java black L series freelander, totally standard apart from a de-cat and a low mileage engine. :)

I have another tatty 3 door with a very much modified L series lump that has been used as a test bed for all the various bits I have done to it, spent its last year of life off road being thrashed in the name of science, but now its being scrapped. So all the test bits that have worked are coming off and stored ready to fit to the new hippo in the spring :D

Looking forward to trying my hand at a bit of off-roading :D:cool:

Welcome,
Why all the effort to make a freelander "ok" offroad when you could bought a proper landy??
Say a Defender for instances? :p:p:D:D;);)

It crossed my mind, but to be honest i wanted a good tow car for a trailer with about 500kg, It spends most of the time on road or grassy fields at events, and I wanted somthing with a degree of comfort, and if I am readIng all the banter on here correctly, the defender is deffinatly king of the countryside, but rather like a tin shed on stone wheels on road :p
