Hey, just want to say hello to you all, and give you my basic info.
My name is Dave, i'm 40, live in WA state on Ft Lewis. Im in the Army infantry, and I have a 2002 Freelander HSE.

Hi Dave, names Gerry I'm a newbie too. Also in the Infantry 1st Bn I rish Guards (Brit Army) based in london welcome to the site. I run a 110 Station wagon in the real world and any number of 110 and 90 Wolfs in the Army Gotta love my job.

LOL SOOOOOO TRUE! I shouldn't dog on the Stryker much, every time it should fail us they pull something out of there dieseled ass and make it back.
As for my free-lander... ya its not like any of the jeeps i have had BUT! for a soccer mom's car its pretty cool.
I'm planning on trading it in for a land rover that's more off road capable and upgradeable. Just have no clue what that would be yet. LOL (dam noobs!)

They are Land Rovers. They all have to be upgraded all the time.

A Defender Dude, infinately upgradeable

I was looking at a defender but it was a really old one that was pretty beat up. But I'm gonna keep an eye out for a newer one.
A buddy of mine has a 04 range rover. its pretty sweet but it seams like its just a bigger fancier version of my freelander, I guess it could be referred to as the soccer dad's car. LOL

Man I wish i had put in 20 years already. Hell I would have been retired 2 years ago! LOL but ive only been in for 2 years. My oldest son and I joined together.

and thanks for the warning, I will keep an eye out for the storm over the horizon so to speak! LOL
