Mid life crisis in full flow, purchased 1971 series 3 swb with galv chassis in May off ebay then found that bulkhead was worse than I initially thought. Managed to buy a newly rebuilt galv bulkhead on ebay for £440 and took a week off work to fit it. I couldn't get the drop arm off of the steering box as all the "experts" told me that I had to remove the steering column so I managed to lift the bulkhead backwards over the column leaving the column in place. Changing the bulkhead has been a great learning curve. Hopefully my Landy should now out last me.
