Hi all newbie here

Hi ya my Mrs got a 2006 freelander2 hse
I've put the child lock on the passenger side rear door
Now the bloody thing won't open from the outside now I can hear it working while I push the lock and in lock on fob but it won't release
The window still works up and down
Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like the handle cable has broken, or the plastic clip that holds the cable has failed.

My Discovery 3 outside handle did the same thing, although not having the child lock on simply ment I could pull the inside release to open the door.

You'll need to take the door trim off to access the cable, but it's not easy with the door still closed.

I've had a look over net and utube for the screw only 4 screws and it all pulls away from door I hope
