my freelander kalahari 2 liter td4 will not fire up been told i need a new diesel injector pump can any one help me with this please

a guy around the corner from me is a manager at the local garage and hes doing it for me he has checked everything else and just said its the injector pump

ok so a new one it must be , the guy who has the car at the mo will be fitting it , i can only go on what he says tho , its in the tank is what he has told me , does this sound right thanks

, may i just let u know what happened to my freelander when it it stopped , i drove to pick up my daughter from school , pulled up turned my engine off still sat in car listening to me radio , never get out of car , went to start car again and wouldnt start just keeps turning over not fireing up every thing else works fine all lights on dash locks unlocks alarm works just wont fire ,
