Hi all, first query

Hi all
Have owned a 300tdi for last 8 years and never failed me but needed a more motorway friendly car so have bought a 04 td5 disco. So lve only ever worked on 300’s not td5’s so just getting my head round the car. First stumble ive come across is the fuel filter. Was having a look underneath and the fuel filter is not connected an no sign of the connection? Ive seen a thread saying some don’t have a connection but havn’t found much info anywere else

thats the water in fuel sensor WKW500070, like you said not all models had it. its not required if its manually drained often.
