As above,
Thought I'd say hi, as just purchased possibly the grottiest Discovery 300tdi that exists.

Got it home Sunday evening, but have not had chance to do any cleaning on it yet and fix some of the things at fault.

Jobs for this weekend are:

Oil/oil Filter Change
Fit new thermostat
Fit EGR valve bypass
Attempt to fit new spring so back door opens via central locking.
Check the earth on the fuel sender unit as gauge is reading empty.
CLEAN/DELOUSE THE CAR FULLY. (as its rancid)

If there is time might then try and start some rust repair, but that will probably have to wait.

Plus side is the car appears to be mechanically sound and is a relatively low mileage (115,000) for an M reg,

Just thought I'd apologise now for all the stupid questions I may be asking over the next few months as this is my first Land Rover.
Also keeping my eye out for spares....

Thanks again

Dave
