Yet another 10p's worth. Can I suggest that you check your air supply. Since this is common between the two fuel types, and by your own admission each is one isn't any better than the other.

Air filter, leaky pipes? If you're hearing suck like that it may even be getting too much air. Take all of this info with a pinch of salt, as I've no knowledge whatsoever of LPG, but I can read.

Just got car back and it's not good! No compression in cylinder 3 o/s, all others are between 120 and 150psi. Expensive one coming up I think! Blown valve or piston perhaps?

Aye heads off indeed!

I'm having a cousin look at it! It's been a while since he's looked at an engine this old and big he says! He's a bit of a genius so he is but it'll take a while he says! Oh well better than a massive bill!

That's what I'm thinkin/hopin it is! Then once it's sorted I still gotta donthe LPG side! Lookin forward to strippin her down actually so I can clean her up and pretty much overhaul the old girl! Plus it'll give me a chance to look at the LPG side if thing too!

When I say me I really mean my cousin doin the work and me running about making tea and fetching tools! Ha ha :D:D
