hi all finally after a long time looking and driving my missus mad iv finally gone a bought a land rover of my own! i wasnt really a fan of off roaders until i got given a 57 plate defender 110 td5 all kitted in black everythin even half leather seats then i liked the feelin of been high up n lookin down at everyone, so from that moment i have been hooked and determined to buy my own to play in.. obviously i couldnt afford my own 57 plate defender and with just being laid off iv had to settle for a 1992 200tdi swb discovery, i have named it mclovin (because i have a licence plate with mclovin on) i love it! i will get pics posted up soon!

Sounds like you are going to be out and about as soon as possible enjoying th motor and breaking bits with the rest of us!

There's a lot of folks on here and a mass of landrover knopwledge and experience, so whether you want someone to go out laning with - mates to go play at offroad sites - help with repairs or simply a bit of landy related banter this is a good place to be.

Keep a thick skin.. some of the folks on here are a little irreverent and will rip the **** whenever possible. They's pretty decent underneath it all though

hi buddy im from a little town called skelmersdale its near liverpool, yeah im lookin forward to getting into the whole scene iv found a little track close to my house its nothin major but its fun just getting to know the disco and learning how far to push it as standard anyway! haha

finally got sum pics uploaded this is on way home from cambridge in a services, then one of it next to my mates which has 2" lift and some all terain tyres............. more to follow hopefully with a bit more work done to it!

whats with the racism?? i should report you to the "officials" haha im sorry to dissapoint but its not leather and it is all legit... apart from the mot certificate i think, but that was nothin to do with me??!! i dont understand how a car can pass a mot without a boot floor and only one bolt holding the drivers seat in place????!! just kidding. all is good and solid so far apart from a shudder once its been on full revs for a second which i believe is somethin to do with air getting onto the fuel line..... time will tell!
