Hi all,
Approaching middle age and friend and I have decided to dive into the world of off-roading.
Looking for our first car, a Discovery V8 mk2 is what we want to buy, it must be a V8. And then get out there, when we can.

Naturally looking for advice and guidance on off-roading and most importantly looking for the right car.

Hi and welcome!

The biggest issue with the disco 2 is the rust on the rear chassis. Check any that you look at thoroughly. Repair sections are available but aren’t cheap to fit. There are more Td5’s than V8’s though so you might need to look a bit further afield.
