hello ladys and gentlemen 
Im Edd, or 2stroke. Im new to this site and to landrovers, never owned one before only driven one a couple of times.
however, i intend to build a series 3, discovery hybrid... disco chassis cut down, coil suspention 200tdi engine and box etc. I do have experiance in fabrication mechanics and genral tinkering with stuff, so Im not a total newb to it
I want to build a tidy looking, but by no means mint s3 on the top that works more like a more modern landrover.
though im sure you'll all know what one looks like here is a picture of my s3 88"
i think for a 200 nicker field find its not in too bad nick, chassis is rotten in all the usual places but it runs and drives well, all i needed to do was blow up the tyres and put a battery on it WIN! the bulkhead is not quite watertite but its by no means a seive either so all in all i think a bargin
the discovery is an old rotter that failed its mot on rot in the rear floor, so i payed 100 for it because thats more that it was worth scrap haha. but it runs and drives as smooth as snot on a door nob, and is 2 owners from new with lots of history, new cambelt and filters last year and all that guff
i hope ill find some friends and advice here and look forward to picking your brains later.
