Freelander 2 (LR2) Hesitant provision of centre console facilities on startup.

Just to be clear the satnav, phone and audio drop out and reconnect about 3/4 times in the first couple of minutes after startup and then all is OK. The car is a 13 plate FL2 HSE SD4 auto. The fault first appeared just over a month ago and has been consistent since then. Anyone any thoughts please.

Running a diagnostic on the infotainment system is the first thing to do. These systems are very complicated, and so need a proper diagnostic on suitable equipment.

You can sometimes find the now discontinued Icarsoft I930 on eBay for reasonable money. It's basic, but reads most codes on the FL2.
The I930 was replaced by the Icarsoft LR V2.0, which can be bought new for about £130. There is also an Icarsoft LR V3.0 for about £180.
They will all read codes from all LR systems.
