Fitted my steering guard today....what an absolute **** of a job. Jeez it took hours and hours, I even managed to fook me shoulder up in the meantime whilst tightening the shassis bolts back up as tight as poss.

Plenty of beer consumed in the meantime :D Feeling much better ;)
 
Well I got as far as the first wet bit before the 90 degree right hand bend but reckon I coulda got the van through that if I straddling the ruts but the nest corner about 30 meters furthur up with the deep ruts would have got the van well and truly stuck. Me thinks I was on my own and needed to get back to Luton for a certain time so I turned back.
 
See those who are going this evening at 7:30 then? I know it is a bit later than before but hopefully that gives people time to get home from work grab a bite to eat.
 
If I remember it was on one of the rangie boys motas or somones anyway and we took the **** outter how ****e it was and then it was used it to 'Prove us wrong' while we stood well back takin the ****.

Glad you're back home OK. I suppose it's time to get a winch bumper, probably cheaper than replacing what you've just ripped off.
We only drove back down it and then called it a night.

Ryder got stuck of course, he's minus a bumper end cap now.

Stuck.... that might be pressing the point a little. I was certainly motionally inconvenienced for a short while, but belileve me that was not stuck. Had I been stuck I would've done it properly and we would still be there!
