Hey gents,

anybody know a good Land Rover indy garage within a reasonable bus/train journey of Stevenage?

Cheers

theres one in harlow i used to work next door to called phoenix i never had to use them (as i didnt have a land rover back then)but they seem to know what there doing "come across as a odd bunch of blokes) but when you get to know them there ok and a work mate had a p38 that he had them work on a couple of times
or theres one in hoddesdon by dobbs weir again never used them but a guy where i work uses them and recommended to me
what sort of work do you need done?

Really need to find some early rrc down pipes ASAP and cut them about. Wiring is 98% done just p clipping and brake and lights need reconnecting.

Rear silencer is ready to mount then hook it all up

Weekend or toady was quite productive which makes a change!

Just need a sheet of 3mm aluminium and my wading shield is ready to be trialled. The idea is a shield that slides into a track in front of the radiator for when I'm wallowing in mud holes, hopefully keeping the radiator from being clogged solid. When it's home time just slide it out and put in in the back.
Jai's trailer is coming on, still lots to do though.
Rear armour on mine as well as doing what it's supposed to has also balanced the look of the Landy, having cut the arches still having the rear curved section behind the rear wheels looked wrong, it looks right now.

There is one in Benington Lordship, nr to Stevange, not used them myself, but maybe be on a bus route. Howe Engineering, a Landy (all forms) & LPG specialist nr Buntingford is who we use when needed - bit further, not sure if buses ever go near them though.

Tubes what's wrong with the motor??

Nothing's wrong (yet). I'm just having a look at Alive tuning and stuff like that and trying to find someone who would be willing to do it for me haha. I also no longer have time to fiddle with any minor niggles myself since I'm not at university any more... So anything that comes along it would be nice to have a back up.

Cheers for the suggestions, guys. I'll have a look
