FFS..... So I am getting these wolf rims and need longer wheel studs for them but I can only find them for about £5 each plus delivery online?! I will obviously need 20 of them so thats £100!! What am I gonna do? Ebay sellers are doing the standard ones (just 20mm shorter for £3 for a set of 5!!!!!!) HELP! Paddocks don't stock them...

Part number: FRC7577

Could be worse, genuine ones are over £15 a piece from LRseries.

Well Front Valence now gone just tidy it up a bit (ie that rusty bar ) wire brush it then Hammerite I think then when the steering guard come it will come off:D:D:D
all that was attached to it was the bottom of the valence

That's what a disco should look like!! Automatically increases approach/departure angles and looks like it should be in the mud not on a motorway!! One of the best/cheapest mods I've done!!

Just save your fog light wiring ready for your spots/roof lights!!

Roof unbolted and wiring all undone except 2 wires then its bolt and jack straight Sibles old truck cab Roof which should be loadsa fun hehe

Sounds like you're having more fun than me Jai... I'm sat at work with 500 kids ready for a thrilling hour and half of Thomas the Tank engine!

I think it look better like this that bar I think is just to hold the valece on but gonna leave it untill I get a steerin guard.
Probley save a bit of fuel now as the amount of plastic behind causing a
barrier to cause wind resistance lol

Lucky enought there is a multiplug for each side just got to cover the ends now until i put some spots in the grill was gonna use the fog lights as they still work but they are shaped and the drivers side one all the brackest got mangeled when i cliped the bank that cracked evrything, will have a closer look at them once they ar cleaned see if i can modify them

Sible your Truck cab was Propper bent! Took ages well ALL day to get it to even look like it was going to fit. Highlift, big boots, big hammers and blocks of wood got it in to a sort of shape. Anyways its fitted and should be seen in action at a few comps over the next couple of months. Many thanks to Spitfiremk1uk and my old man for loadsa of help (and more big boots) still some bits to finish but the main chunk of work s done!

Jai I am glad you said about the suspension I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me lol hard as f**k. As for the roof why didn't you fit it then wack it into shape so you know u it is always gonna fit how ever hard u wack it.

The only straight edge was the back edge where it was bolted to the rear cab and the whole lot was a parralelagram one corner was crumpled over an the ther was also crumpled. there was a foot gap between where it should have fitted my screen before we got it to a sorta shape.

To answer your question simply. I like my windscreen and bolting it to it would put serious strain on a weak frame and only 3 of the bolts would have bolted up properly the rest was so outter shape will post pics tomorrow

Its far from nice its ok all bolts fit and its structually strong it looks batered and bruised and I guess thats a bonus as I wouln't take the comps so serious or try as hard if it was £250 worth of shiny panels. All in all I have a vehicle 90% ready for this years comps so I'm happy few more bits n bobs and I'll be really happy to have a good go at the comps especially as a couple of good sites are coming up in the next month or so.
