Hertfordshire Lanes?????

thinking of doing the lane near markyate in my 110
whats it like i am a relative new boy to green laning

couple of good lanes round there.also into ashridge and gaddesden thers more.

head out dagnall way.you know ashridge motors at the cross road on hemel road?went up there today and water board have dug up the lane and closed it.there digging alot round ere at the moment.

As long as your tyres aren't too wide,you'll be fine. They have a bit of a width restrictionat both ends

I can get through in me disco, but rub the snorkel on the bar. Phil couldn't get through on his old tyres,not sure about the new ones.

probably 6'2" or thereabouts

i have disco rims on my 90 so the off set is on the inside.the mantec snorkel i have has been fitted since...... it was tight but ok.you disco and rangie boys are too fat..?

disco goes through just fine!

When do you want to go Ken I'd be up for that lane need to top up my oil and I'm good for a couple of evening lanes next Week Thursday is a no go tho.

It's come in with shaun the sheep... We are the first venue, so 3 days of production work ahead!

There will be a couple more pics coming but I won't spoil the surprise lol!!

g-man's got one spare if ur quick on the for sale thread.

Advice i got last year when i needed one;

• don't bother getting the seals from ebay
• avoid paddock's recon boxes

PAS box, Outer them,

PAS pump, I think Phil said somthing about his mate or somone had a new TDI Pump kicking about Brand spanking!

Boot floor, Paddocks or MHM Reccomandation

Sills? Paddocks or MHM Reccomandation if needed.


Have a good look at the list below:

Front inner wings?
Rear seat belt mounts?
Rear x member?,
Body Xmember?
Under rear floor supports?
Alpine windows,
Sun roof,


Check these try and stop the leaks and then fix the floor otherwise you will be doing it again in a year or 2.

Add timing belt & tentioner and give it a full service Ideally All oils molyslip the diffs tranny box slick 50 the engine oil. Probably cost a few quid but once its done it'll be fine for a few miles and be very reliable. As for everything else such as bushes & wear and tear items is an easy to do as you use it. Timing belt would be top of my list If I'm honest. Trust no ones receipts nor word.

That was delivered with 1/4 tank of fuel

Do you need any bits for the 200? Just met a guy in Leighton Buzzard who has broken one for the engine etc and has green body panels etc going spare.
