Hey Jai, retestinig the Astra this afternoon - your bro kindly welded the floor for me and it should be good to go a bit later. If you want someone to tow the trailer legally just shout mate, at least we're licensed!

Its a possability I could be picking up some tyres from back towards billing and the Landy needs a run out. The way I understand it is its legal if the trailer is unplated. have cordless will use. All unplated trailers are classed as the lower limit

Are you about this eve after 7pm? Can get this tranny box seperated and sorted out for you tonight cos i'm guessing you'll be needing it pretty soon. Migh Jai
 
as i understand it the law is simple. if you do not hold th correct licence you can tow a trailer of less than 500kg.

the exception to that is if the combined weight of the trailer AND your vehicle and the load you are carrying does not exceed 3500kg
 
Its way more complicated than that and the limit I think your on about is 750KGs MAM. the vehicle combined weight of the trailer, vehicle and its load must not exceed 3500Kgs MAM.
Anyone with a catagory B license can tow an unbraked trailer with a MAM of upto but not exceeding 750KGs OR up to half the towing vehicles kerb weight. It gets way more interesting:
 
Evening all, I'm going to have to bail out on tomorrow, Got a wheel bearing gone, and think i need to flush the rad out/leave it to soak in a bucket to get all the crap outa it, slight warmth issue on the way home from work today.

I've checked Beds website again and apart from the longstanding 40' closure, all should be good. jai mentioned one i've never done before, which sounds good, so I'll be hunting that down. Numbers have dropped quite a bit, so maybe just one group, possibly two, we'll see in the morning.

Jai sorry mate... only just read your message - am starting the disco tomorrow so any time after that is fine, I will have to be here at some point on Sunday for a bloke to collect the shogun though.

Astra has an MOT on it (thanks once again to spitfiremk1) - next mot approaching is the disco but that is gonna be a mission!

Good day out guys, despite the weather. 4 Series Landys out of 7 total, not bad.

2 new lanes I'd never done before, one of which is great fun.
