Ow just brought a 200tdi rad for the trials motor, Very Shiney!! Spitfiremk1uk has rebuilt me one of his V8's and I need to get 2 early RRC hose water pipes to get the engine all complete. So I guess thats almost an excuse to go.

Get there early go to the offroading stand and you can buy your drive around. Its not too bad but not too mad as its open to the public. The mud run Spyderman loves but it can be deep and you can do all of it bar the mud run.

My first Serious comp was on that site and the first section was a 20 meter slope heading down to the canal turing on the steep decent loadsa fun but there will be nothing like that there it'll all be quite safe and suitable for AT tyres on semi standard motors.

The off road course is suitable for all. The tricky bits all have bypasses so if you don't fancy a section just go around it. You can drive through the lake and cross the river, that can get a bit deep, so snorkel is advisable for that. Mud run is fun, lots get stuck. They tried to stop me doing it a few years ago, saying that they weren't letting Series Landys through as it was too tough, I told them to get lost I'd paid my money. Trundled through no problem same route where a Defender had just got stuck.

Get your off road ticket from the LRO tent, it has a time slot on it. Get to Billing early and book your slot for later in the day.

Thanks for the heads up due to work im not sure what time il get there but Il book it as soon as i get there if i can
I'll fit my off road wheels for the weekend
I've got a lift kit but it won't be much use to me as its still new and in a box in the boot so i was hoping it would'nt be to challenging
 
Will pop up early fits thing tomorroz to billing do the ah parts run and
Look for a couple of hoses.

Gotta get back for a wedding at 4pm tho!!
 
Wolf's are genuine Land Rover items, not copies, which is even more of a result.

Jai, I aim to be there at 9.00, got to leave latest 5.00. Loads of people coming for dinner.
 
I think you got a good deal on your genuine wolf wheel rims spyder. Well spotted.

For anyone else buying "wolf" rims. There are apparently cheap wolf rim copies out there. If you dont buy genuine parts which will be part number stamped, just make sure you get the 2250kg rated wheels which are OE parts without the numbers stamped.

Typical cheap and lightweight rated wheels include most alloys including most well known expencive makes, as well as the old favourites, 8 spokes and modular wheels which are generally rated at about half the strength as wolf rims.

The down side is they weigh shed loads!

Has anyone found cheap 900s yet?
 
Yesterday eve I mounted my 240v inlet socket on the 90 and run some
Cable. I tried to mount my changeover switch but was being a pita so i will continue to mount inverter mains changeover switch in the next couple of days.

Also mounted my on board air manifold and hooked up the inlet pipe from the pump getting there really slowly but things are moving forward at a snails pace.

Can't wait to go away laning/ wild camping again as it should be more setup for it!
