Hmmm, Attempting to drop the gear box today, Anyone have a clue how to remove the blasted PTO box or shafts off the PTO box as they be in the way!!!!

Sible Engine rebuild 4??? Did you fit your snorkel??

Have been dead latley some kinda flu/cold thing but hey ho managed to do somthing today. I blew up an angle grinder well burnt the brushes out on my old one.

Added some pics of the front axle and threw the body on to see what it looks like,

Took two landy's to pull me out!!
I was wet through!
I was supporting the long johns for the rest of the day pic to follow.

Yeah fitted snorkel yesterday and very glad for it

Was surprising slidly :-0

Had a great laugh tho, really enjoyed it.

The cage was on the motor and already log booked however it is well out of date. I'm updating the mounts to the latest regs and givig it a clean up. The cage is seriously meaty. It far exceeds the minimum spec diameter for what its needed required. and its Not this CDS Rubbish that will deform. This is Tough!! Thud thid not Ting Ting! if you get me!

Spitfiremk1uk has a tube bender and has built a few cages in his time. but its a weeks work he tells me drive in drive out. One of his cages is on the website. If you see under Competing in our Lr's and Compsafari his cage is on the Rangerover bobtailpickup.

I used to have one that I rented out when we first joined the forum... he is now almost as tall as me ( and a better mchanicy type person too)... however... foreseeing that he would grow.... My wife and I were sufficiently foresighted to spawn another child.... who is now at the stage Kai was a couple of years ago...

So.... a four foot human yardstick... available for a small hire charge!
