I'll have the locker next week, but hopefully I'm away next weekend in Monaco doing a job on a Hyperyacht, so probably Whaddon after that.

To my knowledge you can get them from the states but they are serious serious money.

In the UK Only Kam did them and are made of aerospace material apparently. Lots of **** taking from the comp guys about aerospace jelly.

Not been a fan of KAM shafts they used to have a bad rep years ago. A local garage had a bucket full in the corner of broken ones apparently.

Not wanting to betoo biased I phoned them a month or so ago. No reply phoned again the next day no reply just an answer machine. E-mailed them again no reply and after a week I got please check the website. Which didn't answer my question and the whole reason for ringing contacting them in the first place as I had looked at the website. So I won't be buying my diff centre from them anymore! If they can't be arsed to answer an email or phone and will not tell me what the diff centre is made of or indeed if its in stock and I can collect it asap then I'm not interested.

From Kam's website:

Shaft types and spline identification.

KAM shaft can be fitted as a direct replacement to the OEM originals and will fit all types of cv and diff centers excluding 10 splne carrers. We only produce 24 spline for the diff centers. It is not possible to produce a shaft in 10 spline tooth form that has the same strength as the 24 spline.
