Today I hit the tidy tip with a load of rubbish. Then I dug dug and dug the front garden the mil shouvel got a good testin' today i managed to fill the 90 up as much as I dare and yes its on its bump stops (trial springs Doh) 2 more loads to go which are on the concrete driveway there is soo much top soil all to put in another feckin driveway.

Yes have u changed your number?

Hang on hang on my work phone is here my personal one is in the car give me a couple of minutes to get some shoes on and get it. Try again in 2 TBH Aslong as Jack is getting it sorted. I just thought that a marshall shoulda been a bit more helpful I wasn't there and can't be arsed with the he said she said crap.

I really can't see how Jack did what he did. The water wasn't that deep anywhere. The lake was almost empty compared to previous years, didn't even come inside at all. I hit the 2nd water splash like a lunatic and still couldn't get water over the bonnet. As for water in the fuel tank down the filler, I'm at a total loss. There were totally standard motors going around the course, only issues were getting stuck in the mud hole.

I feel for Jack, nobody wants to see anyone's motor broke. Let's hope it gets sorted soon and doesn't cost too much to put it right.

I'm sure everything was done with the best of intentions and I think its best to leave it there.

Agree.

Brett are you up for Whaddon sometime? A New guy friend of Elvis' (pub meet) has got himself a RRC to play with all winched up totally new to it all not road legal so has to be Whaddon or P&P I don't think its even comp legal

Woop 10 Bar pressure rated Central Heating manifold. Found what I've been looking for Can get on with my On Boad Air!! £8 which is a result! I was worried the valves would not be rated all that high for some strange reason.

Jai,

I'll be up for Whaddon. Can't do tomorrow though as I'm doing "Horrid Henry".

I'd like to give my winch a go, even if its just for a bit of practice, never having had one before.

I've got that brand new winch cable and roller fairlead if you're interested?

Been working on the winch bumper today, the front plate is 11mm steel and the underside of the bumper is 8mm. I think that should protect the winch pretty well.

There is now scope for a rear winch the TD5 tank has been dropped because it hangs down which is against everything I'm trying to do so I have a lovley 90 TD5 tank for sale if anyoine is interested let me know before I flog it on ebay/overlander forum.

I've bought a double battery underseat box to replace the way too small one under the passenger seat. I'm going to get another numax and do a split charge system.

Rear winch is easily possible on mine. would be nice to have the cable exit through the pto hole in the rear crossmember.

No problem Need to finish the driveway and then I can pull the 80 out all the crap has been cleared and I have somwhere to work almost which is scary! Driveway and then work can start once again.

I'm still on the hunt for 18mm p38 4 pin centre spider and gears as I have an 18mm carrier with 15mm cross pins and gears

Also trying to get another RRC early axle to fit early 90 hubs stubs and CV's to to build a stronger unit for the front of the 80 de bracket it and fit it on leaves. loadsa work to do I tell ya! I have a couple of Salisburys with narrow spring pads so they will fit a swb to get a strong all round shafts diffs so its all Good!

Can't fault my split charge system at all T max one with voltage indicators was £60 You can probably build one youself for less or with a 30A relay but for winching alot I like 150A relay instead. Its been great so far no hassel fit and forget.
