It's not been that bad today, been laying wood chip on lawns where dogs have destroyed them and cutting up fallen trees, been lovely most of the day.

The new project has arrived My 3rd RRC. Spent a few months looking for a solid one and then this came up. 12 months MOT. Solid chassis. Scabby bodywork!! I'm not sure what the plans are for it yet. Probably a rolling restoration. Some new rims and maybe a lift (nothing too aggressive as I still have the 110 for that). I'm also going to teach myself to spray in the summer. The plan is to prep and pain this thing myself. Should be fun learning.
I also need a favour from anyone local to me. Im thinking of some deepdish 16x8 black modulars. Maybe an offset of -30 ish. Ive done some calculations and worked out that these with some 255/70 tyres should fit ok and sit just slightly outside the arch (the look im going for). Can anyone local who has these rims let me come over and fit one to see how it sits? It's currently sitting on 235/70/16 general grabbers on stock rims. Ill keep these for spare.

alternator turned up today and its all fitted and working!

Site is very good Stu!
All types of terrain some good bits for team recovery, comp safari and the usual trial tricky bits.
we will try and get the team recovery area good for spectators aswell as the competitors! should be up there up a week before and help layout as best we can aswell
