Right,off to look at some Discovery's this week,so,high mileage,should I worry,or not?I had a Volvo that had done 256,000 miles a few years ago,so am I worrying over nothing,(I'm just after reassureance really).

There are 2 dealers we hopefully are off to,one at Derby,and one at Tewksbury,model wise,not fussed,but would prefer automatic.

So you are looking at any Disco from early 1990 up to present day then.....wide range to choose from.

Yup plenty too choose from the other half is concerned about high miles on them though.

If you want a good Disco, don't bother with RIP OFF dealers, do more research take your time go on forums like this one, try looking for Discovery Series 1 300tdi
these cars can do Spaceship mileage if maintained correctly, but if you buy from a dealer you will effectively be giving at least £1,000 for no real benefit you could use that money for a better spec car bought privately, if your not mechanically minded, then educate yourself make friends with a mechanic to help when viewing potential cars

I get your drift on that one,we looked at a private sale 4 weeks ago,described as good condition and so forth,pulled to the right,would not go into diff lock or any other lower gear,just a minor problem we were told.At least you have some comeback from a dealer,compared to the guy at number 64,the two dealers I'm looking at,have very good reviews,both green oval specialists,and the prices aren't that bad really.

More to the point, do you know what you're looking for when buying any Landy ? If you don't you HAVE to take someone with you who really does. As above there are various models that all have different things to look at which is even more reason to know what you're looking at.
