Re neighbours, I have a defender and so does my young neighbour...he is very enthusiastic but also a tad noisy etc ( I can live with it but it has caused an amazing amount of anger:argue: from the neighbour opposite resulting in police called and now both sets have fitted cameras monitoring each other )

As above I've made a decision I'm going to polish them.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm never going to make the neighbours happy, So why try anymore, As I've said in the past I don't go out at daft o'clock in a morning or stay out late and they still aren't happy.
Don't think it's anything to do with the police, I was always under the impression it was a civil matter?
Either way, They aren't going to stop me doing my hobby, They're the ones harassing me. Watching me out the window whenever I move.

Keep it hear until the engine is out of the blue one.

Well it's been a bloody while since I updated this.
What have I been doing?
Ermm, Absolutely nothing
Obviously the plan was to cummins it.
So with this now not happening I wasn't sure which way to go.
Decided to think about if for a while and decided I'll just stick a tdi in it.
By this point I should have received a log book. Which I hadn't.
Thought it'd be best I don't go doing much until I know what's happening with it.
Still not got one to this date
So still not certain what to do yet
Although their is talk between me and my brother that if we do sort the log book issue out. He want's to stick a 6bt in it and he has it for himself.

But today I wasn't doing much and I'm sick of their being axle bits here their and everywhere so I built the front axle back up.

So, New discs and pads, Seals and gaskets, Track rod ends, Flexi's and a few new bolts.
Just need to make a couple of brake pipes up.
Some times I wish I didn't want everything nice and clean.
Just ends up costing me more money

Had fitted the swivel housings a while back.
Swivel pin shims showing rust already.
Although Theirs not alot can be done about that.

Not on standard tres. Some aftermarket have nipples on!

You can just tap them and install a grease point yourself if you want

looks like Aaron's fell asleep in his engine bay...

No hes now seriously worried as hes reading the thread on 300tdi tuning and has just found out you can get 200bhp from a 300tdi!

You can get 800 from a 6bt

But what the others said, some come with them, Some don't.
One of mine has and the other hasn't.

Ha, Sounds about right
But in all honesty I've stopped because I've never received a logbook.
So not sure what to do, Either try and apply for a logbook from the DVLA or just sell all the bits
The last thing I wanted to do was rebuild it and not be able to get a logbook off the DVLA and basically be stuck with a pile of scrap

Was I Either way, I think I'll stick with the cummins

I know a man who told me he got 1200 then the block cracked!

One a of several I found with a quick google, not the one i was thinking of but way smarter.
