anyway a tractor later we got them free'd (no pics as got dark).....

what a nice bonding experiance..

PS fair play for posting the photos! We're bloody miles away otherwise international rescue here in herts would have sprung into action!

the tyres on the one that got stuck and the one towing didnt help either....

that stuff doesnt look too bad to be honest, as long as you have decent mud tyres, couple of pulls and should have freed it...

nice one though, that's what the fun is all about, getting stuck and get out of it...
there's no fun in just driving over stuff all the time

Why didn't I see this earlier I'm only in Lauder (about 30 miles away) and drive to Edinburgh every day to get to work. I could have brought my D2 and got the brother in law to bring his D1 with winch and had it out in no time.

Sam next time you need a hand or if you want to see what a re mapped D2 feels like give me a shout.

oops remind me of my balls up other month but local farmers lad said his Mcormack would get stuck as well so i spent 3 hours diggin it out:D

Would take some effort to beat my 29 hour stay in a lane in herts... stuck doesn't rreally do it justice. One farmer came down in a tractor 20 foot high; took one look and said "I ain't driving down there!"

I just thought "WTF is my car doing down there then it didn't look that bad when we came in!"

Eventually got it out with the help of DB and another local farmer who had a right giggle when he saw it. No photos atm but I wil search through to find them if I can!
