Before I commit to anything, when you say Perth, could you be more precise, not looking for the exact location but I'm off work tomorrow and it might be a laugh. But I'm an hours drive from Auchterarder

What is that on the ground right behind it? Looks like it has either fallen off, or he had only just driven over it.

Hope the Disco has a tow bar, otherwise oh dear

yeah im up at perth for a long weekend to have chilled weekend with the other half until i got this picture.....

the car is stuck near tranent eh33, i need a 4x4 to get to it and pull it out (great off roading area )

i have not seen the disco yet so dont know how stuck it actually is but he said its only needs pulled back about half a meter out the soft stuff,

well not asked him what he has done but he said he tried digging out behind the tyres and putting rocks and grass behind and let the tyres down but no joy it just dug itself deeper.....

you asked him if he has tried low box / diff lock? or tried rocking it a bit?

it doesnt look too bad, sound like silly questions but alot of Disco 2s are road vehicles driven by people that dont know about these things. it doesnt look like it will take too much

I don't think that one has diff lock (well, actually, technically it does but it doesn't have the knob to engage it!) - they rely on ESP or whatever it's called in this manifestation instead and did away with diff lock.

It does not have diff locks it's got tv instead I not spoke to him much but he said he has had no joy and seams to be in deep,

I've never tried anything like that but I'm not that far away in context to the rest of the forum it seems. I don't know if I'd be much if any use at all though, I'm a fairly new driver and my disco has the plough on the back. If anyone can give me some advice and you really have no better option I'll PM you my number.
