disco td5 w reg been running fine until last night on way home started running really rough like a cylinder had stopped working pulled over lifted bonnet engine all out of sync turned it off waited a few mins started perfect again drove foe a while started to play up again anyone got any ideas would it could be

thanks for the help have had a look around am losing diesel from the FPR have looked on your site great info on how to fix it could this be the cause of the problem im having or have i just found a new problem.

FPR?? Fuel pump return? If you have a diesel leak then there is a chance it is sucking in some air and air bubbles in a diesel fuel line makes for an unhappy Landy.

My fuel prssure regulator was leaking but it didn't affect the running of the car.

To get it done it should be £80 odd plus 1 hours labour.

Thanks for all you help cleaned all the oil out of the plug went great so will have to change injector harness or can you just fit new o rings looked on discovery2.co.uk going to try and just change the 2 o rings on the F.P.R see if that works if not will have to get new one.
