HELP

Hi I’ve recently got an issue with my landy , she come off the road to have the head gasket done , which we do all ourselves, that was all fine put her all back together , done the timing etc , she started and we thought job done! But for some reason she started making a noise so we took the rocker cover off and the very first one on the screw adapter kept needing to be adjusted? and was also hard to undo and on the roller side of it , it had seized and become rough to the touch which caused the part of the cam that touch it to do the same , can somone please shed a light on what has caused this ?! I’m hoping I just missed something simple

No apologies needed , technically you are in correct section but not so many read the engine bits I think
