Help

Hi, I have recently bought a freelander 1 diesel. She has been a bit spluttery while driving and put it down to needing a service. I have replaced the fuel filter this week and although it’s better she is still not holding the revs while driving at a steady speed. She also starts but won’t rev and then cuts out. Will usually start on the 2nd or 3rd turn of the key. She revs up through the gears but from 1st fear to 2 nd fear she pinks a bit. Any ideas?
