So I have a 2009 2.7 TDV6 Range Rover Sport Auto, it broke down on me a week ago and thought it was the battery. Got it to the garage and they diagnosed it as being the alternator shutting off when load was put through it. They’ve now replaced the alternator and saying that there’s a fault with the instrument cluster. Does this sound right? My other half wants to go and pick it up and put a new battery on himself because he thinks that has a factor to play? Any help appreciated.
