I have a really old Landrover Discovery TDI 300 1994, M Reg. A few weeks ago she had a hairpin diesel leak on one of the diesel pipes in the engine which the garage fixed. She seemed to be fine for a couple of weeks but she then started what can only be described as chugging, almost like she was going to cut out. At first, it didn't happen very often but it has got worse to the point where it was really bad this morning and really felt like she was going to die.
She is bad when I accelerate, need more power going uphill etc. At about 25 mph she is okish.
Please help as I need to take her to the garage but I have had so much bad experience with them before I would at least like to have a few answers before I go so any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks

Welcome aboard :)

As post #2..:)

Put a thread up asking for recommendation of a decent garage in your area .... or better still fix it yourself .....:) ( with help from here, as required ...).

I’m from 1994 lol. My landy is 1968.
I'm not too far in front of you at '90, would you describe yourself as really old!! But that is why you also have the new and modern caveats. Can't have 17 year olds claiming their TD5 is really old, that is just not on.

Well it’s all a matter of perspective. My buddy changes car every few years. It’s mad. Anything older than 6 is old to him.
