When was the auto last serviced? Was there an issue before or is this a new development.
Not sure bought it 3 months ago i did it fir a seconds a month ago and was fine
Anything shown in the service history?
If it's done more than 60K miles, the fluid will need changing, if not already done.

Check you Auto fluid first for the colour on a piece of white paper and smell for rubbery burn smell. Rule of thumb of checking levels is 3. 1 TO CLEAN. 2 TO CHECK. 3 TO CONFIRM. Colour should be clean red. If cloudy, water is contaminating from condensation build up from lack of use. If all okay then a specialist will need to check for extra problems.
