the dash will beep for about 10 secs

i've not read about engine 'beeps' before .. :)

cant wait to see this, how do you take a picture of a beep:D

my bet is your batteries need replacing in the fob,

For starters-check if the beeping is time with the little led in the dash. If so its the fob battery calling its sibling

Sorry Landys, changed the battery in my key fob and its still has a constant beep, but only for a few minutes on start up in the morning

Check the state of the vehicle battery, I'm wondering if the alarm is having an issue until the alternator has charged the battery up a bit.....

still not had time to do video yet, it appears to be coming from around the ABS unit, thanks for all your responses tho :)
