Hi Guys,

I bought a really great 109 safari CSW during the summer with newish springs on the back (5 years old allmakes).
They looked a little sagged so I replaced them recently with bearmach springs.

When I put on the bearmachs it made no difference what so ever and still looks sagged...

I contacted LRseries and bearmach and they too are confused... bearmach have sent me new ones again to test (and I hope to do them tomorrow) but in the meantime can anyone give me advice?

Here is the car and the sagging rear suspension. Top of axle to chassis is approx 130mm on both sides and manual says it should be 160mm

Car has insulation and carpet in back, rear seats, transit engine and galved chassis. Other than the chassis and egine all is origional.

Springs are 279679 and 279678 and are on the correct side.

Thanks for any help

From the photo you can see that the spring is more or less flat and the spring hanger is pointing backwards where with a good spring it'd be more or less vertical.(look at the spring hanger on the front compared to the one on the rear)

Genuine springs would sort it or a good set of parabolics from gb springs, although they aren't cheap.

Yep, I was origionally thinking parabolics but was dissuaded on another forum... we thought good springs would work. I thought bearmach would have been the best!

Any idea where I can get genuine springs?
I'm just googling for them now.

Rocky para's were what I was origionally considering.
I'd be gutted if i get them now as I have just replaced the 4 oil shocks aswell :(
