Hi, I have just joined and am looking for some advice. I have been left a 1994 Discovery which has been sat in a garage for a good ten years. The problem is, the keys are lost and I need to get it going again.
Can anyone recommend someone or a company who could come out to the car and sort out a new set of keys. Would this 94 have had an imoboliser fitted ?
Thanks for any help

There's three options, vehicle locksmith could possibly have look at the lock and find the key profile, your local Land Rover Dealer may help by lookIng at the vehicles build data base, and then give you the key number, and finally replace the locks, as key-lock sets are available for the discovery,
Discos in 1994 were fitted with an alarm/ immobiliser system with the a remote fob depending on its specification and-or model year of the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply, I am like a dog with two now as I found both sets with the remotes.
I need to get a new battery as the old one is dead,.but I did run the engine about four years ago, so no major issues. Once I get it home, I will get some photos on here
Thanks again
